מוזיאון הטבע בירושלים

The site is under construction

The Jerusalem Museum of Natural History is a monumental institution located in a beautiful historical building which was used in the past as a residence for governors from the Ottoman period and the British mandate. The museum provides a platform for artistic creation and cultural events inspired by nature, led by community and professional artists. It is a boutique museum that encompasses a spacious campus combining lovely corners of outdoor art, sculptures, installations, an ancient orchard and a floral vegetable garden with extensive activities by the local community serving as an educational example at the national level of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Already at the entrance to the complex the magical experience of connecting with nature in the heart of the city begins. Through the displays and installations visitors engage with the geosphere - through the "treasures of the earth" exhibit, the biosphere - through the "paradise on earth" exhibit, the hydrosphere - in the ancient pool in the heart of the garden, and the atmosphere in the fresh air under the wide sky. In particular, we focus on the human component, our contribution to the world and its preservation - the anthroposphere - through the "Nature Studio" and the "Hybrid Library" installations .
